Physical Therapy

The physical therapy programmes at the PALLADION Rehabilitation Centre are carefully designed exclusively for each individual patient, after careful evaluation of their condition and their physical abilities. Our experienced and highly qualified physical therapists are fully trained in the use of our Centre’s state-of-the-art equipment. The services they offer are designed to:

  • strengthen muscles
  • improve aerobic conditioning
  • improve stamina, coordination and posture
  • maximise safe, independent mobility
  • ensure independent ambulation (if possible) or encourage safe ambulation with mobility aids (e.g. walkers or walking sticks).

Our ultramodern equipment obviously plays an important part in the success of our treatment programmes. Physiotherapy at the Centre takes place on the ground floor where there are gym facilities, as well as neurological and orthopedic treatment areas. The treatment rooms are equipped with:

Robotic gait training system

PALLADION’s latest robotic gait training system is designed for patients with various neurological ambulatory problems (following spinal cord injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury), but also for persons with cerebral palsy.

Isokinetic dynamometer

The isokinetic dynamometer is used for testing and intervention to improve the range of motion of joints and muscle strength.
